Several Democratic members of the House of Representatives, who are currently engaged in challenging re-election campaigns, have reportedly accepted campaign contributions from the influential Pritzker family.

This family, known for their ownership of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, has been linked to funding groups involved in the recent wave of anti-Jewish protests on college campuses and in cities nationwide.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) data reveals that the Pritzker family, which includes Democratic Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, has donated substantial sums this election cycle to various vulnerable Democrats. These donations extend to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and the House Majority PAC, both of which are dedicated to securing a Democratic majority in the House of Representatives.

Simultaneously, the Pritzker family has been associated with funding organizations implicated in the anti-Jewish protests, which have been widely criticized and have led to numerous arrests, as reported by Politico over the weekend.

The Pritzkers are founders of the Libra Foundation, an organization that provides financial support to smaller, more specialized nonprofits. Several of these funded groups have been actively involved in the anti-Israel protests. For instance, The Climate Justice Alliance has participated in marches and used the term "Genocide Joe" to critique President Biden's handling of Israel's ongoing conflict with Hamas in Gaza.

Other funded groups include Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity, which Politico reports has encouraged anti-Israel demonstrations, and the Immigrant Defense Project, which was involved in a Washington D.C. protest earlier this year that resulted in multiple arrests.

In addition to the Pritzkers, liberal billionaire George Soros is also a benefactor of the Tides Foundation. The list of Democrats who have received Pritzker funding includes Representatives Mary Peltola (D-Alaska), Mike Levin (D-California), Eric Sorensen (D-Illinois), Sharice Davids (D-Kansas), Gabe Vasquez (D-New Mexico), Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio), Susan Wild (D-Pennsylvania), Matt Cartwright (D-Pennsylvania), Chris Deluzio (D-Pennsylvania), and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Washington).
