Arizona Congressman Ruben Gallego, a Senate candidate representing South Phoenix, has recently criticized Kari Lake for hosting a fundraising event at Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Kari Lake, a Trump-endorsed Arizona GOP Senate candidate, raised a record-breaking one million dollars at the Mar-a-Lago fundraiser, with notable attendees including President Trump, Roger Stone, and conservative comedian Roseanne Bar.

Gallego expressed his disapproval of Lake's fundraiser on social media, stating, "I'd take a town hall with hardworking Arizonans over Mar-a-Lago any day." However, it has been noted that Gallego himself recently attended a fundraising event in his honor, hosted by Alex Soros, son of leftist billionaire George Soros, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of 'Hamilton.' This event was not held in Arizona, and it was certainly not attended by the "hardworking Arizonans" Gallego claims to represent.

Soros shared news of the event on Twitter in mid-March, stating, "Kicking off campaign season with my co-host @Lin_Manuel for congressman @RepRubenGallego's senate run in Arizona. Ruben has an impressive life story and the stakes of this year's election couldn't be higher, they're existential."

Fox News reported that Alex Soros, who now leads his father's nonprofit empire, has been actively meeting with Democrats in the lead-up to the 2024 elections. Soros posted a picture on social media this week with likely Democrat Arizona Senate nominee Rep. Ruben Gallego, who has received thousands of dollars from Soros this election cycle.

Despite Gallego's previous statements that the "ultra-wealthy don't need any more advocates in Washington" and his criticism of the GOP for aligning with "special interests and their billionaire buddies," he attended the event with Soros. Federal Election Commission records show that Soros has donated a maximum of $6,600 to Gallego's campaign for the 2024 elections.

RAV correspondent Ben Bergquam commented on Gallego's attendance at the event last month, stating that Gallego was hugging Soros "like a little schoolboy" and "sucking up to the communist left." Bergquam described a photo of Ruben Gallego appearing to show deference to Soros as "one of the most pathetic pictures I've ever seen."
