Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, encountered student demonstrations during her visit to Wellesley College, her alma mater, on Saturday.

The visit was to honor Clinton with a college building named after her. However, it was met with protests from students who were present to disrupt a women-led democracy summit on campus, which also featured Clinton.

Reports from local media outlets indicate that the disgruntled students distributed pamphlets across the campus, labeling Clinton as Wellesley's "most beloved war criminal" and accusing her of having "blood on her hands."

The college administration acknowledged the protest but refrained from condemning it. "I encourage all who participate in activism to follow the demonstration policy and be mindful of our Code of Student Conduct so that you remain safe for yourself, and for our community," stated Sheilah Shaw Horton, the vice president and dean of students.

This is not the first time Clinton has faced protests during her visits to American universities. She was repeatedly interrupted by protesters during her appearance at Columbia University in February, where students labeled her a "war criminal."

The recent protest at Wellesley College occurred shortly after Clinton criticized U.S. voters during her appearance on the "Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. When Fallon asked Clinton what she would say to voters who were "upset" that the only two choices were former President Trump and President Biden, Clinton responded, "Get over yourself. Those are the two choices."

Fallon reacted positively, saying, "Yeah! I love that." Clinton continued, "One is old, and effective, and compassionate, has a heart and really cares about people. And one is old and has been charged with 91 felonies."

Clinton expressed her confusion over why choosing between the two was difficult. "I don't understand why this is even a hard choice, really. I don't understand it," she said. She emphasized the importance of the upcoming election, stating, "What kind of country we're gonna have, what kind of democracy we can have and people who blow that off are not paying attention because it's not like Trump, his enablers, his empowerers, his allies are not telling us what they want to do. I mean, they're pretty clear about what kind of country they want."
