The Republican National Committee (RNC) has undergone a significant transformation, becoming a "bonded entity" with the Trump campaign, according to Lara Trump, RNC co-chair.

This strategic move is part of the Republicans' concentrated efforts to secure victory in the upcoming presidential election. Lara Trump shared these insights during an interview on Breitbart News Daily.

She elaborated on the changes within the RNC, particularly under its new leadership. "I understand the hesitation a lot of people had over the past several years with really getting super involved or relying on or donating to the RNC," she said. She acknowledged that many conservatives felt that the RNC was not adequately representing their values or judiciously allocating funds towards causes they championed.

However, Lara Trump emphasized that the RNC has evolved. "We did a lot of staffing changes... We changed a lot in terms of the folks at the RNC. We made sure that we weren’t overlapping people with the campaign," she said. She highlighted that the current election cycle is unique due to the unprecedented cohesion between the RNC and the Trump campaign.

In the past, the RNC and the campaign functioned in parallel, but there was a noticeable disconnect. Lara Trump stated that this is no longer the case. The operations have been streamlined, and the RNC and the campaign have merged into a "bonded entity."

"We have people currently at the RNC who were over at the Trump campaign as of a month ago, and vice versa, folks from the RNC who have gone over to the campaign," she said. This strategic move ensures that resources are not wasted on duplicated efforts. "One person is in charge of one thing, not two people doing the same job and we’re wasting money on that," she added.

The RNC has also reviewed long-standing vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness. "We’ve reviewed vendors and contracts that have been at the RNC for years, making sure that everything is priced appropriately, that we’re getting the best value for everyone’s dollar," Lara Trump said. She further added that the RNC now exudes a "very different vibe."

The RNC and the Trump campaign are now united in their focus and objectives. "We’re playing the game differently," she said. The RNC is implementing unprecedented strategies, including legal ballot harvesting, trained poll watchers, and encouraging early voting and trust in vote-by-mail. "We want you to vote however it is you can vote, as early as you can, and then encourage other people to go do the same thing," she urged.

Lara Trump concluded by stating that the changes in messaging, staffing, and fund usage will soon make it evident that the RNC has indeed transformed. "I think people are very quickly going to see it is a different RNC," she said.
