Since his retirement from the military last year, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, has been actively involved in various sectors, including advisory roles and academia.

He has also ventured into public speaking, signing with the same agency that represents Hillary Clinton. With these diverse income sources, Milley's earnings are set to significantly surpass his previous military salary of $204,000.

The Intercept reports that Milley has been appointed as a senior adviser by JPMorgan Chase. He has also joined the faculties of Princeton and Georgetown, serving as a guest lecturer and fellow in residence, respectively. His speaker's agency, Harry Walker, lauds Milley's leadership experience, suggesting it offers "impressive and enlightening insight" to his audiences.

The agency's description of Milley reads, "General Milley’s depth of knowledge and discernment of today’s geopolitical issues gives shape and meaning to the shifting power centers in the global operational environment." It further adds, "His perspective is invaluable for audiences looking to understand the impact of current conflicts and managing risks on boards of directors and leadership teams who are responsible for making strategic decisions and identifying vulnerabilities. More than a lesson in history or current events, General Milley helps audiences understand the significance of this moment in time as a potential turning point in history."
